Itinerary

Day
1

Cochin-Munnar (150 km)

After reaching at Cochin you will be escorted towards Munnar. Munnar is situated at merger of three mountain streams - Mudrapuzha, Nallathanni and Kundala and is even famous for tea plantation and was the summer resort of the British government and is 1,600 above the sea level.

Munnar

After having a lavishing breakfast, you will visit Eravikulam National Park which is a home to the endangered inhabitant like the Nilgiri Tahr. You will get a magnificent view of tea plantation and the mountains where the slopes are covered in blue color and blue color is due to the flower Neelakurinji which blooms once in every 12 years. You can visit the Kundala Lake and sandalwood forest. Enjoy the boat ride at the Kundala Lake. Return to the hotel at night and enjoy you delicious dinner.

Munnar

Post breakfast, you will continue our tour by exploring Munnar. You will visit Mattupetty dam, Top station, Echo Point and many more things. Mattupetty dam, where one can enjoy the boat ride and get in touch with the nature. The panoramic view of the Western Ghats and the valley of Theni from Top station is simply stunning. Return at the hotel at noon.

Munnar -Periyar (110 km)

At noon the tour will proceed towards Periyar. There enjoy the boat ride at Periyar Lake and you can see the elephants taking bath as that is common there. You will also come across the spice plantation and coffee plantation and is known for plantation of cardamom, pepper, vanilla and many more. Return to the hotel at night and relax.

Periyar – Kumarakom (116 km)

Post breakfast the tour will proceed towards Kumarakom. Relax at hotel at noon so that you can feel fresh for the evening tour. You will visit Kumarakom backwaters, Kumarakom bird sanctuary and Kumarakom beach.  Kumarakom bird sanctuary is located on the bank of Vembanad Lake and is a habitat to many migratory birds like cuckoo, water duck, owl, kingfishers, woodpeckers,Egret,Siberian cranes, Teal, Wood beetle and many more. The Kumarakom backwaters is a home to many plant and animals and if you want to get in touch with the nature you can go for a houseboat and feel nature very close to you. Stay overnight.

Kumarakom – Alleppey (48 km)

After having breakfast the tour will continue towards Alleppey. It is mainly famous for houseboat cruises and boat racing. You can take the house boat riding after reaching there and explore the nature by feeling it very close to you. Stay overnight in the house boat in which there will be all facilities as a luxury hotel.

Alleppey – Cochin (55 km)

After arriving Cochin, by the house boat. You can do shopping also, after that our representatives will escort you to your departure point for your further journey.
