Welcome to Delhi

The capital city of Delhi would be the culmination point of your relishing journey in India. On your arrival at airport our representative will greet you and escort you to the hotel. Spend rest of the day relaxing after the tiring journey.

Old Delhi delight

Delhi is also the food capital of India as people here are die hard foodies and tourist are also drawn to this city due to the variety of delicacies offered by the city. Post breakfast you will explore Old Delhi visiting the Red Fort, Chandni Chowk and the famous spice market situated at Khari Baoli. In Chandni Chowk you will visit the Paranthe wali gali, famous for variety of vegetarian and non vegetarian 'paranthas'. Old Delhi is popular with several shops offering delicacies famous since the time of Mughals and Britishers. The 'chat 'of Delhi which is a platter with sweet and spicy ingredients is very popular including dishes like Gol Gappa, Dahi Bhalle, Papdi Chaat, Daulat ki Chat and more. In the evening leave for the hotel and enjoy a tasty North Indian cuisine as dinner. Overnight stay at hotel.

Delhi to Dharamshala by flight

Post breakfast you will be dropped at the airport to board the flight to Dharamshala. On your arrival at Dharamshala you will be assisted to the hotel where you may rest for few hours. Later you will visit McLeodganj which is known as 'Little Lhasa' due its Tibetan population and hence is dotted with Buddhist Monasteries. Explore the local markets and get a flavor of Tibetan cuisine. Return to hotel in evening and learn about cooking Indian cuisine at hotel under the instructions of the head chef. Enjoy dinner and then after a comfortable overnight stay at hotel itself.

Visit Kangra valley

Next morning you will be driven to the exquisite Kangra Valley. The valley is covered with Deodar forests which refresh the lungs. The popular tourist attractions here are the massive Kangra Fort, the Jwalamukhi temple which is a temple without any idol, magnificent Masroor rock temple and many others. You will enjoy dinner at a local homestay and learn about Himalayan style of cooking.  Overnight stay in hotel.

Dharamshala to Amritsar by road

Enjoy a delectable breakfast at hotel and proceed to holy city of Amritsar. You will proceed for sightseeing of the city after comfortable transfer to the hotel. Seek blessings at the most revered shrine of Sikhs - the Golden Temple. Have some authentic Punjabi cuisine as dinner at the hotel.

After traditional breakfast of 'lassi' and 'parathas' you proceed to explore the streets of Amritsar and get taste of local street food. Visit a Punjabi household in the afternoon and take some lessons about traditional styles of cooking. In the evening, visit the Wagah border- which is an Indo-Pak border- for beating the retreat ceremony. Proceed of for dinner at some rustic punjabi dhaba which would be a unique experience. Overnight in Amritsar.

Amritsar - Delhi - Jaipur

Next morning after breakfast, you will be dropped at the airport to board the flight to Delhi. After having lunch at some authentic Indian restaurant in Delhi you will be driven to the Pink City - Jaipur. Overnight stay in Jaipur.

Jaipur sightseeing

Jaipur – the gateway to the most vibrant state of Rajasthan is also the capital city. Relish the traditional brekfast of kachori and proceed for visiting places like the enormous Amer Fort, Jal Mahal Palace situated in the Man Sagar Lake, the palace of winds- Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar observatory, Govind dev ji temple and more. Enjoy authentic Rajasthani food as dinner in tradition style at Chokhi Dhani restaurant. Return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Jaipur - Agra

On this day, you will proceed to explore the romantic city of Agra enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri.  It is a red sandstone city constructed by Akbar in 16th century. The imposing Buland Darwaza- entrance to Jama Masjid, Diwan e khas with carved central pillar, Jodha Bai’s Palace and marble Tomb of Salim Chisty are few of the places of attraction. On arrival in Agra you will be transferred to the hotel for overnight stay

Agra

Enjoy the beautiful sight of enchanting Taj Mahal in the early rays of the sun. Return to hotel for breakfast and then leave for sightseeing tour of the city. Visit the formidable Agra Fort- residence of the Mughal rulers, Akbar’s Mausoleum- Sikandara and Tomb of Itmad-ud-daula often referred as Baby Taj. Attend your cooking classes in the afternoon at the host’s place followed by lunch. Return to the hotel for comforting overnight stay.

Agra - Lucknow

Next morning after breakfast board your flight from Agra to Lucknow. Popularly known as the city of Nawabs, Lucknow is known for its etiquettes and mannerism. On reaching there you can explore the streets of Lucknow and taste the popular Kebabs like the Gilawati Kebab and Tundey's Kebab which were invented years ago for the royalty. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Post Breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing tour of city visiting famous places like Bada Imambara, Chota Imambara, Rumi Darrwaza, Dilkusha Kothi and the Chattar manzil- all popular for their distinctive style of architecture and historical  importance. In the evening, treat yourself with some delectable street food of the city and relish dinner at some Indian restaurant. Overnight in Lucknow.

Next morning you will board the flight to Kolkata. On your arrival at Kolkata you will be transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day is at your leisure wherein you can explore the market observe the Bengali culture of the city. In your dinner, relish Bengali cuisine at the hotel. Overnight at the Kolkata.

Post breakfast you will depart for the city tour. Visit the Victoria memorial Hall which is an example of colonial style of architecture, 19th century Dakshineshwar Temple and the kalighat kali temple- the most revered goddess in bengal. In the evening enjoy a boat ride in Hoogly River and try some street delicacies like ‘Puchka’, 'Jhal Mudi', 'Ghoogni Chaat', 'Loochi-alu dum', and 'Kele bhaja'. Later, return to the hotel for overnight stay.

On this day visit places like St, Paul's Cathedral, High Court, Marble Palace, Shaheed Minar, Fort William, Tipu Sultan mosque and Mother Teresa's Mission. In dinner enjoy variety of fish delicacies and Bengali sweet dish without which the Bengali cuisine is incomplete. Overnight stay in Kolkata.
