Delhi arrival

The Heart of India luxury tour will commence with your arrival at Delhi airport. Our agent will assist you in completing the check in formalities after which the day is at your discretion to spend accordingly. Overnight stay in Delhi.

Delhi sightseeing

Watch the Indian history unfold through touring the monuments that are dotted all over the city. These magnificent structures are evidences of the glorious past upheld by the imperial capital of Delhi. The formidable red fort boasts about the grandiloquent lifestyle of medieval times. The tall minaret, Qutub Minar, coupled with small other monuments surrounding it are surely fascinating. The India Gate, Jama Masjid, Akshardham Temple, Lotus Temple are the gems that you would explore. Night stay at hotel.

Delhi - Agra (231 kms)

The exotic city of Agra would be your next destination. After a delectable breakfast at the hotel you will hit the roads to reach Agra. On arrival after having lunch you will explore this romantic city by visiting the glorious Taj Mahal – one of the Seven Wonders of the World which stands tall as an epitome of love. The Agra Fort, an enormous red sandstone building leaves everyone spellbound with its remarkable architectural engineering which was made possible in that era. Night stay at the hotel.

Agra - Gwalior (120 kms)

Next morning you will be driven to Gwalior, a city in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. The city holds great historical significance. This city is home to one of the most beautiful forts of India, the Gwalior Fort which was commissioned by the Tomar dynasty. The Jai Vilas Mahal- Palace of Scindhias, the Maratha rulers; intricately carved Sas Bahu Temple; Tomb of famous musician Tansen; Tomb of Rani Laxmi Bai and several other places are the points of attraction of the tourists in Gwalior.

Gwalior - Jhansi - Khajuraho (103 kms- 175 kms)

Post breakfast you will move forward in your journey and will drive to khajuraho. Enroute you will visit Jhansi – the land of brave Queen Rani Laxmibai. The Jhansi Fort, St. Jude’s Shrine, Rani Jhansi Museum and the Rani Mahal are popular tourist attractions that you will visit here. Later resume your drive to Khajuraho known for its erotic temple structures. On arrival in the city, after the check in formalities you’ll have your dinner and enjoy night stay in the luxurious hotel.

Khajuraho sightseeing

The Khajuraho group of monuments is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with several Hindu and Jaina temples in the complex. The walls and pillars of temples are decorated with carvings of intimate structures of male and females. The Chturbhuja Temple, Kendriya Mahadev Temple, Lakshmana Temple, Duladeo Temple, Vamana Temple are few of the most fascinating temples in the complex. The site holds distinctive importance among the art lovers. Return to the hotel in evening for overnight stay.

Khajuraho - Orchha (175 kms)

Have breakfast and then proceed to Orchha, a former princely state of Rudra Pratap Singh. The expansive Orchha Fort complex houses various spectacular monuments such as Jahangir Mahal, Sheesh Mahal, the Raja Mahal and many splendid gardens. The Orchha cenotaphs and the Raja Ram Temple are other places worth visiting in Orchha. Overnight stay at hotel in Orccha.

Orchha - Bhopal (355 kms)

Next morning you will leave for Bhopal- the capital city of the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. This 11th century city was founded by Raja Bhoj and is adorned with several natural and artificial lakes. On arrival you will be transferred to the hotel for relaxing overnight stay.

Bhopal - Sanchi - Bhopal (42 kms)

Early morning after breakfast you will visit the famous Buddhist site, Sanchi. Here you will see the popular Sanchi Stupa enlisted in the UNSCO world heritage site, constructed by Emperor Ashoka. The stupa portrays incidents from the life of Lord Buddha which is a stupendous example of Buddhist architecture. After the sightseeing return to Bhopal and spend time with yourself while watching sunset on the lakeside. Overnight stay at hotel in Bhopal.

Bhopal - Ujjain - Indore (191 kms- 55 kms)

The holy city of Ujjain is your next destination in the journey. On arrival in Ujjain you will visit the Mahakaleshwar Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva- which is an auspicious site of Hindus as it is one of the twelve jyotirlingas situated all over the country. Devotees also take a dip in River Shipra which is considered holy by the people. Ujjain is also site of the Kumbh Fair which is held once in every 12 years. Later you will proceed to Indore where you will stay overnight.

Indore sightseeing

Indore was the former capital of the Holkar dynasty of India and is popular as devi Ahilya’s city. Post breakfast you will leave for sightseeing tour of the city visiting the fascinating Kaanch Mandir or the glass temple built by Sir Hukumchand Seth. The Lal Palace constructed by Maharaja Shivaji Rao Holkar gives a glimpse of the royalty of Marathas. The Mahatma Gandhi Hall and the Rajwada are the other tourist spots. Overnight stay in Indore.

Indore - Omkareshwar - Maheshwar (80 kms- 66 kms)

From Indore you will be driven to Maheshwar, enroute visiting Omkareshwar- a town set on the banks of River Narmada. The place is popular for the majestic temple dedicated to Lord to Shiva which can be reached by a boat across the river.  After seeking blessings at the temple you will resume your drive to Maheshwar. On arrival in Maheshwar you will be transferred to the hotel where you will have your dinner followed by overnight stay.

Maheshwar - Mandu - Maheshwar (42 kms)

Today you will explore the ancient fort city of Mandu located in the Malwa region of Madhya Pradesh. The floating palace or the Jahaz Mahal provides an amazing view to the visitors. The expansive Mandu fort is India’s biggest Fort. The land is said to be witness of the legendary romance of Baz Bahadur and Rani Roopmati. The entire city of Mandu is adorned with Afghan architecture which is spectacular. You will return to Maheshwar for overnight stay at the hotel.

Maheshwar – Mumbai (595 kms)

From Maheshwar you now be driven to Indore where you will be dropped at the airport to board a flight to Mumbai. On arrival in the city you will be escorted to the hotel where after completing the check in formalities you will leave the hotel for exploring the economic capital of India. Drive past the marine Drive and discover the nightlife of Mumbai. Overnight stay in Mumbai.

Departure

Post breakfast you will be dropped at the Mumbai airport from where you will board the flight back home. Tour ends in Mumbai.
