Day : 01 (Monday) : Arrive Delhi
Arrival at Delhi. Warm welcome at the airport and then transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 02 (Tuesday) : Delhi City Tour
Full day city tour of Old and New Delhi:

Old Delhi : A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid - the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort and palace of the Moghul Empire.

New Delhi : An extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue - Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave. Overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 03 (Wednesday) : Board Palace On Wheels - A Week in a wonderland
A beautiful morning awaits for you. In the later afternoon transfer to Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station to board Palace on Wheels. Reporting time is 1630 hrs. Ceremonial welcome onboard of the Palace On Wheels at the Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station. Departure for the regal journey of a lifetime at 1800 hrs. Overnight stay on board.

Day 04 (Thursday) : Jaipur
The gateway to Rajasthan, the 'Pink City' of Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the late 17th century. Jaipur has much to offer visitors - everything from a royal legacy of architectural wonders and a wealth of handicrafts to pageants and festivals, and sightseeing. Jaipur is a harmonious blend of traditional lifestyle and modern ways.

13:00 hrs: Lunch at the Le Meridien.
17:00 hrs: Depart for Jaisalmer.

Day 05 (Friday) : Jaisalmer
Referred to as the western sentinel of India, Jaisalmer is one of the greatest bastions in the world. Situated in the heart of the Thar Desert in Rajasthan, Jaisalmer offers the visitor an enchanting world of fable, color and history. A citadel that seemed to be willing trapped into a medieval time-wrap, Jaisalmer portrays the love and interest the Rajputs had for the fine arts.

08:30 hrs: Depart for sightseeing tour of Jaisalmer
13:00 hrs: Lunch onboard and rest
17:00 hrs: Visit the sand dunes and go on a camel safari
19:30 hrs: Have dinner and relish the cultural programme
23:00 hrs: Depart for Jodhpur

Day 06 (Saturday) : Jodhpur
The city of Jodhpur is situated at the edge of the Thar Desert and is famous for its magnificent forts and palaces. Founded by the Rajput chief Rao Jodha in 1459, Jodhpur was the erstwhile capital of the Marwar state and today is the second largest city of Rajasthan. There are about 100 towers in the city, most of them are surrounded by defensive battlements. The imposing Mehrangarh Fort stands majestically overlooking the city.

08:00 hrs: Arrive at Jodhpur
08:30 hrs: Depart for local sightseeing
13:00 hrs: Lunch at the Umaid Bhawan Palace
15:30 hrs: Depart for Sawai Madhopur (Ranthambhore National Park)
19:30 hrs: Have dinner and relish the cultural programme
20:00 hrs: Dinner served onboard

Day 07 (Sunday) : Sawai Madhopur - Chittaurgarh
Sawai Madhopur is the town at the entrance of Ranthambhore National Park, which is famous for its lush environs, clear lakes, meandering rivers and the beautiful and royal wild species like the royal Bengal tiger.

Chittaurgarh is India's most valorous fort lingering with its history and unending passion of saga, chivalry and romance. Built in the 7th century, the Chittaurgarh Fort was once adorned with beautiful palaces within its sprawling ramparts, but few survived the perpetual onslaughts of invaders.

04:00 hrs: Arrive at Sawai Madhopur
06:30 hrs: Breakfast onboard
07:00 hrs: Visit the Ranthambhore National Park
11:00 hrs: Lunch served onboard
15:30 hrs: Arrive at Chittaurgarh
16:00 hrs: Depart for local sightseeing
20:00 hrs: Depart for Udaipur and dinner onboard.

Day 08 (Monday) : Udaipur
Poetically referred to as the 'City of Lakes', Udaipur, was founded in the mid-16th century by Maharana Udai Singhji. Situated by the Lake Pichola, Udaipur has been an inspiration for poets, painters and writers and is famous for its palaces, lakes, museums, temples and gardens. The Lake Palace is the major attraction of the city.

06:45 hrs: Arrive at Udaipur. Breakfast served onboard
07:30 hrs: Depart for sightseeing of the one of the most romantic cities in the world.
12:30 hrs: Lunch at the mystical Lake Palace Hotel
13:00 hrs: Depart for Bharatpur. Dinner served onboard

Day 09 (Tuesday) : Bharatpur & Agra
Bharatpur is the home of the world famous bird sanctuary - Keoladeo Ghana National Park, also know as Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. An ornithologist's paradise, Bharatpur is home to an astonishing range of exotic flora and fauna.

06:00 hrs: Arrive at Bharatpur and visit Keoladeo Ghana Bird Sanctuary.
08:30 hrs: Breakfast at the Bharatpur Forest Lodge

After visiting the Bharatpur bird sanctuary, travel to Fatehpur Sikri (22 kms/14 miles), the red-sandstone city build by Mughal Emperor Akbar, by air-conditioned coach.

The grand finale of this unique journey is definitely Agra. Situated by the sacred River Yamuna, Agra is the erstwhile bastion of the mighty Mughal Empire and home to the mesmerizing Taj Mahal - a poetry etched in white marble and one of the seven wonders of the world. Agra also presents some of the marvels of Mughal architectural brilliance.

10:30 hrs: You will be driven to Fatehpur Sikri
13:00 hrs: Lunch at the Mughal Sheraton Hotel. Later on Sightseeing tour of Agra
20:00 hrs: Depart for Delhi and dinner onboard

Day 10 (Wednesday) : Disembark Palace On Wheels in Delhi - Mumbai (By Flight)
Arrive as early as 0730 hrs in Delhi Safdarjung Railway Station. After farewell breakfast onboard. On arrival straight transfer to domestic airport to board flight for Mumbai. On arrival transfer to Resham Bhawan at 1500 hrs to board Deccan Odyssey - A week in Heaven. Overnight on board.

16:40 hrs: Departure from C.S.T (Mumbai) for Bhoke Rly. Station. High Tea & Dinner on board

Day 11 (Thursday) : Jaigadh, Ganapatipule, Ratangiri
Arrive as early as 0730 hrs in Delhi Cantonment Railway Station. After farewell breakfast onboard.

On arrival straight transfer to domestic airport to board flight for Mumbai. On arrival transfer to Resham Bhawan at 1500 hrs to board Deccan Odyssey - A week in Heaven. Overnight on board.

07:40 hrs: Break fast on board. Arrival at Bhoke Rly. Stn. and departure for Rai Jetty. by A.C. vehicle.
09:00 hrs: Arrival at Rai Jetty
09:00 to 11:30 hrs: Boat ride from Rai Jetty to Jaigad jetty
11:30 to 12:30 hrs: Departure for Ganpatipule along Sea side Road
12:30 hrs: Arrival at Ganpatipule Resort

14:45 hrs: Departure for Ratanagiri by Lux. Bus

Day 12 (Friday) : Sindhudurg, Tarkarli, Sawantwadi

08:25 hrs: Breakfast on board. Arrival at Sindhudurg Nagari.
08:30 hrs: Departure for Malvan Jetty by A.C coach
09:30 hrs: Arrival at Malvan Jetty
09:30 to 11:00 hrs: Visit to Sindhudurg Fort by Boat
11:15 to 11:45 hrs: Malvan Jetty to Tarkarli - By Bus
11:45 to 14:30 hrs: Cultural Programme, Lunch & Free time at Tarkarli Beach
14:45 to 15:00 hrs: At Tarkarli Jetty
15:15 to 16:15 hrs: Boat Cruise in Tarkarli Creek. Journey upto Walaval

Day 13 (Saturday) : Goa

2) Se Cathedral Church
3) St. Francis of Assissi a museum for Goan antiques and visit to Fontanhas the Latin quarters at Panjim.
12:30 hrs: Departure for Hotel
13:30 to 16:00 hrs: Lunch and free time at beach
16:15 hrs: Departure for Madgaon Railway Station
17:15 hrs: Departure for Pune. Dinner on board

Day 14 (Saturday) : Kolhapur, Pune
Morning - Arrival at Kolhapur City, known as Karveer or Dakshin Kashi of Maharashtra. Situated on the banks of river Panchaganga.

Board the bus to visit; New Palace, a royal palace partly converted into museum, Bhawani Mandap (The Town Hall) witness traditional Martial Art locally known as "Mardani Khel", An exquisitely carved Mahalaxmi Temple a temple of goddess Ambabai visited by millions pilgrims, Shalini Palace built of intricately carved black stone & Italian Marble stands on the west side of lake Rankala, watch cultural programme and visit to handicraft stalls for perfect memorabilia.

At noon board the train at Kolhapur station to depart for Pune. Lunch onboard. Leisure time till evening. Evening arrive at Pune. Board the bus to visit Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, houses variety of artifacts of the 17th, 18th & 19th Centuries. Board the train from Pune railway station. Dinner onboard.

07:00 hrs: Breakfast on Board.
08:00 hrs: Arrive at Kolhapur Rly.Station.
08:30 hrs: Depart for Sightseeing by A/c. Coach - Visit New Palace, Museum, Bhavani Mandap Mahalaxmi Temple & Shalini Palace- Watch cultural Programmes & Visit to Handicraft Stalls.
11:30 hrs: Depart to Kolhapur Railway Stn.
11:45 hrs: Return to Deccan Odyssey.

Day 15 (Monday) : Aurangabad

08:30 to 10:00 hrs: Departure by A.C coach. Visit to Daulatabad Fort.
10:00 to 10:30 hrs: Departure for Ellora Caves.
10:30 to 12:30 hrs: Visit to Ellora Caves.
12:30 to 13:15 hrs: Departure for Aurangabad.
13:15 to 15:00 hrs: Lunch and cultural programme at Aurangabad.
15:15 to 16:00 hrs: Visit to Bibi-ka- Maqbara. Optional: Back to train.

Day 16 (Monday) : Jalgaon

09:30 to 10:30 hrs: Visit to Ajanta Caves.
10:45 to 12:00 hrs: Departure for Jalgoan Railway Station.

17:00 hrs: Arrival at Nasik.
17:15 to 18:00 hrs: Visit to Panchavati Ghat.

Day 17 (Wednesday) : Disembark Deccan Odyssey - Delhi (By Flight)
Morning - Arrival at CST - Mumbai. Journey Ends. Enjoy the breakfast on board as the sun rises over the commercial capital of India. Alight at the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus in the morning enriched with the rich legacy of this land. The royal journey is over, but the memory of which, will live on forever.

Day 18 (Thursday) : Final Departure
Intime departure transfer to International airport to board flight for onward connection.
