Day : 01 (Monday) : Arrive DelhiArrival
at Delhi. Warm welcome at the airport and then transfer to hotel. Overnight
stay at Hotel.
Day 02 (Tuesday) : Delhi City Tour
Full day city tour of Old and New Delhi:Old
Delhi : A sightseeing tour of Old Delhi would entail visiting the
Raj Ghat - the memorial site where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated; Jama Masjid
- the largest mosque in India and the Red Fort - once the most opulent fort
and palace of the Moghul Empire.
New Delhi : An
extensive sightseeing tour of New Delhi would include a visit to the
Humayun's Tomb, the Qutub Minar, a drive along the ceremonial avenue -
Rajpath, past the imposing India Gate, Parliament House, the President's
Residence and would end with a drive through the Diplomatic Enclave.
Overnight stay at the Hotel.
Day 03 (Wednesday) :
Board Palace On Wheels - A Week in a wonderland A beautiful morning
awaits for you. In the later afternoon transfer to Delhi Safdarjung Railway
Station to board Palace on Wheels. Reporting time is 1630 hrs. Ceremonial
welcome onboard of the Palace On Wheels at the Delhi Safdarjung Railway
Station. Departure for the regal journey of a lifetime at 1800 hrs.
Overnight stay on board.
Day 04 (Thursday) : JaipurThe
gateway to Rajasthan, the 'Pink City' of Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Jai
Singh II in the late 17th century. Jaipur has much to offer visitors -
everything from a royal legacy of architectural wonders and a wealth of
handicrafts to pageants and festivals, and sightseeing. Jaipur is a
harmonious blend of traditional lifestyle and modern ways.

Jaisalmer Referred to as the western sentinel of India, Jaisalmer
is one of the greatest bastions in the world. Situated in the heart of the
Thar Desert in Rajasthan, Jaisalmer offers the visitor an enchanting world
of fable, color and history. A citadel that seemed to be willing trapped
into a medieval time-wrap, Jaisalmer portrays the love and interest the
Rajputs had for the fine arts.

Day 06 (Saturday) : Jodhpur The
city of Jodhpur is situated at the edge of the Thar Desert and is famous for
its magnificent forts and palaces. Founded by the Rajput chief Rao Jodha in
1459, Jodhpur was the erstwhile capital of the Marwar state and today is the
second largest city of Rajasthan. There are about 100 towers in the city,
most of them are surrounded by defensive battlements. The imposing
Mehrangarh Fort stands majestically overlooking the city.

Day 07 (Sunday) : Sawai Madhopur -
Chittaurgarh Sawai Madhopur is the town at the entrance of
Ranthambhore National Park, which is famous for its lush environs, clear
lakes, meandering rivers and the beautiful and royal wild species like the
royal Bengal tiger.
Chittaurgarh is India's most valorous fort
lingering with its history and unending passion of saga, chivalry and
romance. Built in the 7th century, the Chittaurgarh Fort was once adorned
with beautiful palaces within its sprawling ramparts, but few survived the
perpetual onslaughts of invaders.

Day 08 (Monday) : UdaipurPoetically
referred to as the 'City of Lakes', Udaipur, was founded in the mid-16th
century by Maharana Udai Singhji. Situated by the Lake Pichola, Udaipur has
been an inspiration for poets, painters and writers and is famous for its
palaces, lakes, museums, temples and gardens. The Lake Palace is the major
attraction of the city.

Day
09 (Tuesday) : Bharatpur & Agra Bharatpur is the home of the
world famous bird sanctuary - Keoladeo Ghana National Park, also know as
Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary. An ornithologist's paradise, Bharatpur is home to
an astonishing range of exotic flora and fauna.

After
visiting the Bharatpur bird sanctuary, travel to Fatehpur Sikri (22 kms/14
miles), the red-sandstone city build by Mughal Emperor Akbar, by
air-conditioned coach.
The grand finale of this unique journey is
definitely Agra. Situated by the sacred River Yamuna, Agra is the erstwhile
bastion of the mighty Mughal Empire and home to the mesmerizing Taj Mahal -
a poetry etched in white marble and one of the seven wonders of the world.
Agra also presents some of the marvels of Mughal architectural brilliance.

breakfast onboard. On arrival straight transfer to domestic airport to board
flight for Mumbai. On arrival transfer to Resham Bhawan at 1500 hrs to board
Deccan Odyssey - A week in Heaven. Overnight on board.

known as Karveer or Dakshin Kashi of Maharashtra. Situated on the banks of
river Panchaganga.
Board the bus to visit; New Palace, a royal
palace partly converted into museum, Bhawani Mandap (The Town Hall) witness
traditional Martial Art locally known as "Mardani Khel", An
exquisitely carved Mahalaxmi Temple a temple of goddess Ambabai visited by
millions pilgrims, Shalini Palace built of intricately carved black stone &
Italian Marble stands on the west side of lake Rankala, watch cultural
programme and visit to handicraft stalls for perfect memorabilia.
At
noon board the train at Kolhapur station to depart for Pune. Lunch onboard.
Leisure time till evening. Evening arrive at Pune. Board the bus to visit
Raja Dinkar Kelkar Museum, houses variety of artifacts of the 17th, 18th &
19th Centuries. Board the train from Pune railway station. Dinner onboard.
